We are excited about Fiona Phillips work going up in the St. George Art Academy. This will be more than just a 2D work on the wall. Phillips has sewn dresses which will be dawned by contemporary dancers on Friday October 8th, 2010. This body of work speaks of the Glamor that comes with being a women and even more so a woman whose work is found within her home.

Festival Postponed to Spring but Workshop still On.

The Italian Street Painting Festival has been postponed to now happen in the spring. We will update shortly on the exact date.

We are excited announce the Tuacahn Street Painting Festival that will be a collaboration with Tuacahn High School to benefit the art and music departments and encourage arts education in all the schools. There will be a competition for the most student involvement from each school. All the forms and details will soon be found here on our website.

Hello and welcome to the opening of the St. George Art Academy!

This organization is the brainchild of two local professional artists: Alisha Tolman and Aimee Bonham. Their goal is to expand the artistic horizons of anyone with a willing mind. One of the main tasks of the Art Academy is to provide art instruction to not just adults, but for children as well. Another facet of the Art Academy is facilitating the exhibition of new forms of art in St. George, such as “installation,” and “performance art.” Watch for up-coming events and special shows!
